FINALLY ADOPTED!!!!!
Husky/ Shepherd mix-
This senior guy is still here.Shadow is a good boy. He is very loving with people and can be kinda crabby around other dogs at times. He loves Kathy to pieces and follows her everywhere. He has healed very well from his surgeries. He needs a home that loves dogs and understands them.

Leeroy is a dog with a lot of energy. He needs a family that is very busy and can meet his physical needs with lots of exercise. He is a bit of wanderer so he needs a fenced yard. He does not like to share his food so he would be best suited for a family with no other dogs. *Losing weight, needs out of the kennel environment
Hobo
Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Hobo is a great middle aged dog. He is not good with cats. Hobo is good with other dogs. Happy go lucky, doesnt act like an "older" dog. Would benefit from a fit outgoing family.

German Shepherd - Single Breed
Tydus is a young boy with a lot of energy. He was recently neutered. He needs an owner with dog experience. He is a sweet boy with people but is dominant with other dogs. We are hoping that will change a bit now that he is neutered. Adoption in process :")
Woden

Woden was raised
holistically. He came from a very loving owner who was very upset to have to
give him up for adoption. According to his previous owner he is not great with
some men, although since being at the rescue (and being constantly exposed to
all types of people) he has been slowly coming out of his shell and becoming
quite social. He has been neutered.
Woden typically has some German Shepherd in him and will become
protective of his home environment when someone comes to the door. Woden should
be adopted by an experienced dog owner. good with cats.

Shepherd Mix
Vodka is a fairly young dog. He is pretty energetic and silly. He loves people.Can climb chain link fencing.
After doing some work with Vodka recently I see that he is maturing and settling down. He is great with all other dogs. Although still energetic he does eventually setttle down. He would do great with a family that loves the outdoors. He is good with other dogs or can be an only dog. Vodka would do best in a Rural Environment with space. He can sit, shake a paw and is clean in his kennel.

Foxhound male, sweet, best with adults / or older children. Calm dog, good hunter, inside dog. House Trained. Not good with cats. Beau isnt doing well in the kennel environment as he had never been kennelled in his home. He is a proven hunter that responds well to men.

Male 3 year old neutered, Cathoula Leopard/Blue tick Coonhound,sweet boy. Very large in size, Happy go lucky and bouncy. Many volunteers at All Heart have Oz on their current favorite list.
Logan aka Barney,
Nice dog, neutered young male, protective in his home. Needs a home that doesnt have a lot of company. Older kids or none preferred, great with cats.
Tucker
Tucker is a sweet boy that was brought to us from New Liskeard. His owner had a seperation and couldnt keep two dogs, therefore Tucker was brought to us. He is a good boy that was very shy when he first came to the Pet Rescue.He loves people as you can see in his photo. Tucker is good with most other dogs. Great with cats (adoption pending)
Bobby is a silly crazy, young black lab mix. He is friendly and will be a great dog for Obedience classes.He is very calm in the house and loves attention.

Mackie
- is a very sweet girl that has had a tough start in life. She was tied to a dog house in Moose Factory Ontario. She had many litters of puppies while not being fed properly. Her frame merely a life walking carcass with fur. We are very grateful for Preventing Unwanted Puppies in Moosonee for helping to get Mackie to us. She is gaining weight while at the pet rescue and also gaining trust of new people.

Grommit
Grommit is a wonderful boy. He is half Great Pyranees and half German Shepherd. He is by far Kathys favorite at this time. He is gentle, and very affectionate. For those of you that know Kathy's dog Jack, he is just as affectionate as Jack is. Grommit was born on a Horse/Sheep farm. At one point it was his job to help herd in 1500 head of Sheep. Unfortunatly last year his owner became ill and sold the sheep part of her farm. Grommit's job was no longer. Since last spring he has been tied to a short chain where he has been just living life. Grommit's owner asked that we take him into our program as it wasnt fair for him to live his life chained up. He has been an outdoor dog. We are working on kennel (crate) training him and he is doing a great job. He came in with his daughter "Puppy" now named Lovely. Grommit is great with children, dogs and cats.
Zack
Zack came into All Heart Pet Rescue on Sunday April 13, 2008. He was orginally adopted from the Humane Society as an older puppy. He is aprox 3 years of age. He is an energetic boy that needs obedience training. Zack was given up because after his owners did renovations to their kitchen, he started to have the odd house accidents. Urinating aprox every 3 day in the house.A kennel (crate) wasnt used to re house train him. We have started this process and hope to have him back to normal in no time! Zack is good with kids, and other dogs. Cats not reccomended, although can be an option.
Windsor
Windsor is a beautiful boy. He is a 5 year old single breed German Shepherd. He was rescued from the Lakeshore Dog pound (Windsor Ontario) We named him that as he was a stray and no previous information was available on this boy. He has an exceptional temperment and would do best in almost any setting. We are concerned about Windsor's reaction to small dogs and wouldnt reccomend him in a home with them. He is "interested' in cats, further testing to be done with them. Windsor had gotten very ill not long after he arrived at All Heart Pet Rescue and we were not sure if he would survive or not. His health is much better, we are just working on building his weight back up now.
Merrick
Merrick is a sweet boy. He is aprox 18 months of age, a Husky/German Shepherd mix. He is a little touchy around his collar still. We are trying to desensitize him. He seems to be frightful when you touch his collar and wants to protect himself by mouthing the person. He is great around other dogs. Merrick was found as a stray in the Greater Sudbury Area and rescued from the pound by a group of wonderful volunteers, Rose, Linda and others........ He will soon be neutered by our vet and then hopefully will find a good home!
"Lovely"- aka Puppy
This dog is a very sweet but shy girl. She is Grommits puppy from last year. Her mom was a single breed Border Collie. Sadly puppy was one of a big litter that her owner couldnt find a home for. She was never named but tended to nevertheless. Her social skills are very poor but we are working on exposing her to people and various places outside of the only place she knew; the horse farm. Lovely has been spayed and would certainly benefit from a temporary foster home at this time.

My name is Ping Pong. I am the mascot at All Heart Pet Rescue.I don't live in a cage!! I was once a street cat and Kathy saved me. I was veering in and out of traffic in Powassan Ontario. I am the first cat that Kathy picked up as an Animal Control officer that helped to implement the cat bylaw. I was in rough shape when I arrived in 2005. I no longer live in a cage. I love everyone, all cats, kids, people and dogs!! that come through my door. If you listen carefully you can hear me purr like a Raccoon. I also am a Big Brother to all cats, if they need their ears cleaned or their backs cleaned. Im the guy to do it!! I love to help take care of kittens as well. Kathy and the volunteers say that I make everything worth while.
