Bins. This year the North Bay Children's Aide and All Heart Pet Rescue were
presented with more gifts for the children and animals than we have ever had.
Not only are we grateful for all that you've done, but also
your true kindness at Christmas time. All of you certainly do know the true
meaning of Christmas.
Also, special thanks for everyone in the store for giving up
such a large space for all our stuff!!

Dan Ross has been an essential part of helping the
dogs at All Heart Pet Rescue.. Dan committed two years to the rescue
coming aprox 4 days per week. He is a Certified Trainer that helped many
dogs to learn how to be a better dog! Dan has moved to Nova Scotia and
is doing dog training full time now. Dan has adopted my sweet boy Magnus
which was an orphaned German Shepherd that I nursed from 10 days of
age. Best of luck to you Dan! We appreciate everything you've done.

Kari Van Mierlo of Precious Paws Doggie
Daycare Inn was once a very shy young girl that worked for two years as
an employee of Bear Creek Kennels. She spent most of her time
researching dogs and cats as a child therefore came to our place with
much knowledge. Kari has adopted a kitty from All Heart Pet Rescue a few
years ago. Kari has spent a lot of time doing fundraising, being an
animal advocate, purchasing pet supplies and helping with the animals at
All Heart. |

Chessa and Talia Sabourin have been a
wonderful help at the rescue. They spent one year while doing home
schooling with their mother coming out to the rescue and cleaning,
socializing, grooming and helping the rescue in general. They are a
great bunch of animal lovers. The girls along with their mother Tina and
their father "Sab" have adopted a dog and a cat with three kittens from
our rescue program. |

Cheri Grant "The Cat Lady" (left) and
Leah Wood both of South River are regulars at All Heart Pet Rescue on a
Sunday morning. Cheri can always be found in the cat room not only
cleaning but loving the animals as well. Cheri has done and given many
things to All Heart. She's a real sweet lady, a hand made wall unit
first aid kit, ceiling fans, numerous pet supplies and cleaners and two
"twin seating" Bear Chairs! Cheri has adopted three cats from All Heart
Pet Rescue
Leah Wood comes with her mother and
sister and they float all over the rescue seeing that all animals have
been properly taken care of. Leah and her family adopted a black
Labrador retriever named Kobe from All Heart Pet Rescue. |

Andrea Mantha a veteran to All Heart Pet

Pom) from me several years ago. |

Arlette Wood has been coming out with her
two girls and Cheri Grant for almost a year now. She has obviously done
a lot of dirty work around the pet rescue. Arlette isn't ever
apprehensive to do any task that we've challenged her with. She has
donated so many items to the pet rescue its incredible. Pet supplies,
pet food, cleaners, ceiling fans, and lots of love. Arlette and her
family adopted Kobe a black Labrador retriever puppy from All Heart last
year. |

Brenda Moffat (left) and Mary Rousseau
(right) have both been Foster Kitty Momma's to many cats. Brenda has
taken on some of the toughest cases that I've had. Kittens that were
orphaned or about to die and she's brought them back to life. She has
also donated numerous pet supplies, food, lumber :), and vet visits for
All Heart Pet Rescue. Special thanks to Brenda's husband Chris for being
supportive to Brenda and the pet rescue as well. Brenda and Chris have
adopted a very sweet one eyed kitten that was on his death bed twice! He
is now big, healthy and very well loved!
Mary has been employed with Bear Creek
Kennels since August of 2003. She originally began as a volunteer that
certainly worked up a sweat when she cleaned out our barn one summer.
Mary has taken in five foster cats in total and found homes for all of
them. Two of them with her brother and three of them with her. She is
not allowed to foster anymore cats because she keeps them all!!! :) |

clean, walk and feed the dogs. They can be seen walking in the pet

so much!! Special thanks to Miranda for all your help. |

Dennis King is like a step father to me.
He has supported me and my efforts for over eight years now. He has been
encouraging, and very positive. Dennis (and his wife Carolyn) is the
man that purchased all of the lumber for the All Heart Pet Rescue
shelter building to be built. He has also picked up truck loads of dog
food for me throughout the years. Dennis has adopted a St Bernard mix
through me five years ago, and also a cat or two :) Thank you for being
so kind. |

Amy Dunn is a great girl with a wealth of
dog knowledge. She was a volunteer of mine that did her College
placement with the pet rescue aprox four years ago. She knows how to
work hard and is very efficient in what she does. Amy adopted a black
lab/ shepherd from All Heart Pet Rescue. We miss you Amy! |

Hugh MacDonald is like a grandfather to
my children. A true inspiration. Hugh is a man that never stops. I truly
believe that he's spent more of his life helping others than helping
himself. He is a very unselfish person that will always make sure that a
job gets done! His organizational skills cant be beat by anyone either!
Hugh pounded the pavement for days on end when we began our fundraising.
He got donations from old friends down south, former colleagues in the
USA and friends and neighbors from around North Bay. At one time he was
also known as the trench digger around here. I'm very proud of this guy
and how hard he works. He's almost 70 years old and works harder than
some 40 year old people I know. |

Russell Turner has been the great handy
man at All Heart Pet Rescue. I met Russell at one of our Open Houses in
the winter time of '05 and he volunteered his services. He's fixed walls
in the shelter, put in trap doors, made all the dog kennel doors in the
rescue area, and fostered a couple of very sick dogs from All Heart. If
any of you remember the emaciated black lab x named Max, Russell is the
man that brought him back to life and adopted him to be his forever
companion. Russell has also adopted Comet a yellow lab mix from All
Heart Pet Rescue. |

Wayne Stickland adopted a beautiful
yellow Labrador named Maddy from me almost two years ago. Since then
Wayne has been a foster dad for the day for a few dogs, taking them out
to the beach or just socializing a timid dog that needed time spent with
them. In April Wayne did a transport from Toronto to North Bay for All
Heart. Two dogs named Buddy and Holly were in need of rescue so Wayne
got them safely to me. They have both been adopted by wonderful homes.
Special thanks Wayne! |

matter who is chewing his head (or hand) off! Special thank you for all
your help Shawn. |

Cindy Grant has adopted a beautiful black
Labrador retriever from All Heart at 9 years of age. Boyd is a very
lucky dog! She and her family have also adopted a kitten and an adult
cat as well. Cindy has contributed many items to the pet rescue that
have helped very much. She is an assertive gal that certainly makes sure
a job gets done. Thank you Cindy for all your help! |

Louise and I met last August when the pet
rescue was being erected. She has not only been a very hard worker on
the job site, at fundraising events, and in my office..... but also an
incredible friend. She is a very kind hearted, unselfish person that has
taken over my book keeping chores, and has also gotten me on track to
being more organized!!!! Louise was at one time a foster parent to All
heart pet rescue until of course she adopted the little critter. She is
the mom of Willow the lab/Weimeraner mix that came from Quinte Humane
society in Belleville Ont. Thank you for everything Louise! |

Jeff Barronette has done his high school
co op placement with All Heart Pet Rescue since January of 2005. He has
been an essential part of the rescue organization since then. Jeff will
continue with part time employment with Bear Creek Kennels during the

Mary Munn is a lady that has transported
many dogs and cats to All Heart Pet Rescue from New Liskeard over the
years. Many animals have been given a better chance at life because of
Mary's hard work. Mary has adopted an older Torti cat from All Heart Pet
Rescue many years ago.
Thanks for all you do Mary! |

Dawn Hodgkinson, the original "Cat woman"
a very dear friend to me. Dawn has worked with me for years when All
Heart first began. She dedicated countless hours volunteering and trying
to improve things around here. Even though she has moved onto Ottawa she
continues to help needy cats all around, and we keep in very close
contact. Dawn has been an absolute inspriation to me. |
